This day trip is to the West Coast national park located approx 100 kms from Cape Town. This is one of only two coastal National parks in South Africa. It is a very important wetland as it is at the end point of the wading birds migration route from the Artic.
The park is dedicated to re-introducing species that had become extinct due to human interference in the past. It is a park rich in birdlife, fauna, flora and history. Our tour is an ideal way to appreciate the diversity of this unique ecosystem. We can also visit the Fossil park nearby for an interesting look at prehistoric time.
Update - The Postberg section of the WCNP is open for August and September for the annual flower season. Come along and visit this wonderful floral display, as well as viewing the various game species that are being reintroduced here. These include Eland, Bontebok, Red Hartebeest, Springbok and more
